We are at the luxurious Palazzo Parigi, a renowned hotel located in the center of Milan, where the white veils and Christmas décor has created a sense of fairy tale, perfect for celebrating professional stars of the wedding industry that work to make thousands of couples happy for one of the most important days in their lives.
On December 1st, 2017 Italy’s wedding industry witnessed in breathtaking splendor as Daniela Corti, in honour of these hard working wedding vendors, brought 60 nominees, from 20 categories together in recognition and celebration of excellence. Following a prestigious banquet and Nu’Art Events performances, the finalists and participants watched eagerly as 25 custom-created Marina Corazziari sculptured jewels, were presented to the talented winners.
Susan Barone was in attendance as one of the presenters, having been invited to judge the category of Luxury and Unique Wedding Locations in Italy. The top three contenders for the Location category were Villa Crespi www.villacrespi.it, Villa Toscanini www.villatoscanini.com, and Villa Foscarini www.villafoscarini.it
The winner had to demonstrate an exceptional showing in the following parameters: the immersion of a geographical landscape and how it adds value as a backdrop to a wedding location; the history of the property and the area, which can bring an enriched theme to the celebration; how the culture of Italy is showcased throughout the hotel and it’s experiences; unique features of the property itself adding an authentic experience to the wedding, and; a story which combines the property, the land, the history, the culture and the authenticity all together making it an event to be remembered for years to come.
Villa Crespi proved outstanding in all criteria, congratulations! We are already looking forward to the 2018 edition of the Italian Wedding Oscars, this time in Puglia.
